Stylish sneakers

27 January 2014

Did you see the pretty sneakers featured at the Chanel Spring 2014 Couture show? As a tall girl who also has little stamina when it comes to painful heels, I love the idea of pairing stylish sneakers with an outfit.

Below are some of my favorites, but first, don't forget to enter the Henry and Belle skinny jeans giveaway (here)!

pink dreams: chanel fall 2012 couture

10 July 2012
like all chanel collections, the fall 2012 couture collection is gorgeous. the lush velvets, metallic tweeds, and beautiful bow blouses are stand outs, but the real show stoppers for me are the heavenly pink hues.

is there anything more perfect than chanel suiting? i'm in awe of this underwater-inspired collection: the palette, accessories, everything is just perfectly whimsical and lovely!

chanel spring 2011 couture

the spring 2011 couture season is in full swing - a few designers have already presented their collections and there are many more to come.

karl lagerfeld wows once again with his spring 2011 couture collection featuring pretty pastels and plenty of sparkle and sheen. there's a common theme of layering with an emphasis on tunics over a skinny pant and flowing, full skirts. sophisticated black flats with a clear ankle strap are the perfect accessory for these heavenly looks.

karl lagerfeld is known for delivering spectacular shows and today was no exception.

the classic chanel tweed suits were in full effect, but the collection gave an edge to the traditional ladylike glamour: we saw distressed jeans and black leather paired with combat boots, fingerless gloves and a glitterized version of the iconic quilted handbag.

the color palette was dominated by black and white, with pastels and hints of gold singing spring. per usual, the dresses were divine, but the father + son duo was an unexpected, but swoon-worthy touch.

if fall was all about fur, then this spring it's feathers.

highlights of the 87-look(!) collection below. i edited as much as i could!
