hi, all! how was your weekend? if you follow me on instagram, you might have seen snippets of my weekend already...
friday, we met friends for dinner spacca napoli, one of my favorite spots for authentic neapolitan-style thin crust pizza.
on saturday, we got gussied up and went to the ballet!
joffrey ballet extended their run of othello and it was incredible.
i have never seen choreography like this before, let alone in a ballet. it was beautiful, dark, and poetic. rather than just telling a story, lar lubovitch's choreography led you through an emotional journey, ripe with foreshadowing, internal conflict, and of course, tragedy. if you have a chance to see it, i would highly recommend it!

on sunday, we spent the entire day working on two DIY projects that i can't wait to share with you!

I've been wanting to go to the ballet for so long! I've only been once, when I was a child. I always love an excuse to dress up and go on dates like that with the husband.

The only ballets I've ever been to have been the Nutcracker, but I'd love to go to another one. I can't wait to see what the DIY is!
