Hi! Julia here from The Urban Slant. I'm so excited Ashley asked me to fill in today while she is off becoming a Mrs! 

With the temperatures rising, and the sunshine staying out longer and longer, I'm finding any excuse to break out of my cold weather shell, and breathe in all the fresh air. 

Here are some ways that I'm enjoying the start of summer.

Shop outdoors! So many markets open up during the warm months with the freshest produce you can find. It also serves as a fun "day date". 

Take a walk with no direction in mind! I just love exploring new neighborhoods on foot, and finding new restaurants, boutiques, parks etc.

Take your morning cup of joe outside (if you have a balcony/patio/deck). If not, splurge at your local coffee shop, and sit somewhere nice and people watch (a favorite past time of mine).

Curl up with your favorite book on your favorite park bench. I like to silence my phone, too! 

With the inevitably of some summer showers, it's always nice to have fresh flowers inside to keep the sun shining.
