j and i are only 36 days away from our wedding and i am so so so excited! so far, i have shared details with you about the ring, my initial inspiration, venue, save the dates, invitations, photographer, favors, flowers, decor, and more decor, groomsmen's gifts, hair and makeup, rehearsal dinner dress, bridal shower invitations, and my first and second wedding dress shopping experiences... guess i can't keep a secret very well!
honestly, it's been so fun sharing details along the way and reading your sweet comments! i've really enjoyed the planning process, but i must admit, i am so ready for the big day to be here!
and now for the cake...
our venue has teamed up with alliance bakery here in chicago for all of their wedding cakes and i couldn't be happier with the choice. the way i saw it, it was one less decision we had to make and taking one look at their wedding cake portfolio, i knew they could make us a gorgeous cake. we'll also be using them for our macaron favors!
we knew we wanted a pretty, elegant design that we could build on with fresh peach garden roses from our florist. below are a few inspiration pictures i sent the bakery. i think they're all beautiful, but one in particular is my favorite. can you guess which one?
