i've mentioned before that i prefer flats to heels and and it's for two very practical reasons: i walk a lot getting around in the city and i have foot problems. super cool, i know. i wear orthotics when i can, but flats with a low profile (like these, which i do own and love) and heels don't allow for them. these have been my go-to for city living because they're comfy and i can fit my orthotics in them, but i've been on the lookout for a dressier flat that i can wear to work.
enter oxfords. it takes me back to my childhood because my mom used to dress me in black-and-white saddle oxfords all the time. i haven't worn them since i was little, but i'm lately i'm loving this classic shoe and how great it looks with a cigarette pant and shorts.
are you a fan of the oxford?

I love Oxfords. These are all adorable!
I ADORE the oxfords with the white bow. Great selections!
I live in my Jcrew flats, but I do have a crush on a pair of classic Bass oxfords–they're so preppy and perfect!
Oxfords have been on my mind a lot lately. I would go for a nude pair. And with cigarette pants or shorts they would look great!
