when j and i first started dating and he was still in another state, he sent me flowers from flora for my birthday. he told me later that he searched for a florist that would create a unique and beautiful arrangement, and not just the standard dozen roses, and they absolutely delivered. those were the first flowers (of many - i am a lucky girl!) he gave me, so flora was the only florist we considered for the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and posies.
chuck, the store manager, was great in our consultation and i felt like he really understood the aesthetic i wanted - soft, beautiful, ethereal, unique. i brought in the inspiration pictures below and we literally looked at every in-season flower option in our color scheme.
i knew i wanted peonies and garden roses, but chuck suggested flowers i hadn't considered (or heard of) with soft, lush petals to help round out the bouquet. the bridesmaids bouquets will be a bit different, but here are the elements for my bridal bouquet!
