i am thrilled to share the design boards alex of things that sparkle created for my new apartment! if you don't know alex, she is an up-and-coming interior designer, who just opened alexandra berlin design, and writes a blog full of gorgeousness. we have a very similar aesthetic and she's one of my fave blogger pals, so i knew she was perfect for this project.

my fiance and i are currently registering for our wedding and will be moving into a new apartment in two weeks, so we're hoping to use this opportunity to really redo our place. we got a head start last week by refinishing our furniture and painting it white, but i'd love to add some key pieces to really bring it all together.

i told alex that i like whites, mirrors, metallics, and pastels mixed in and sent her the pictures below. as an added challenge, i asked her to pull pieces mostly from the places we're registered: pottery barn, crate and barrel, and macy's. she did an amazing job and i love the rooms she created, don't you??
